Blood Donation

It has been a long time I haven't write on this blog.
Today, I experience something very spectacular and would like to share, well let's say that I would like to remember this moment so in the future when I read this blog I can remember what is this about.
Today, at my workplace, we have a blood donation event. My last blood donation is on 14 March 2017 at Bandung, I like to do this because I know every blood drop can help people who need it.
The team was coming late, should be started at 11 but postpone to 11.30 am. I did the registration, check the hemoglobin and blood tension and then it's my turn to give my blood. Nothing special from the process except the person in charge who took my blood is not as friendly as usual, she was a bit in rush and harsh. Well, I don't mind to feel pain a bit though.
The thing is, after completing a 350 cc of blood donation, she gave me a band-aid and I woke up, walk away from the room and I felt something drop in my left arm, when I saw it, the blood is running down, A LOT!!! Dripped to the floor and carpet, I was a bit excited yet shock. I put high my left arm and put my right palm behind it, the blood was wet my right arm. The PMI team tried to stop my blood with a wet tissue and need a lot of tissue to clean up the mess. The blood was not stopping right away, it took times.
Afterwards, when the blood dripping slowly they put more band-aid there. I don't have time to capture the moment but it's still fresh in my mind, how the blood is running down from my arm, fresh red blood and I feel it come out from my body.
This is my 15th times give a blood donation and never experienced what I have today.
Good to know that I'm still okay after 350cc of blood collected and saw my blood running out from my body. Need to take more rest and drink more water.
Keep the healthy life, don't regret for what has been happened, and share your happiness towards people around you.
